Floor paint, for a sleek result

It is important that before you start working with spray paint, you know what type of surface you are working on. Depending on the surface, you can determine which type of paint is most suitable. Our experts are happy to advise you. Do you have a question about spray paint and want to know whether it is the best solution for your difficult-to-paint object? Can you paint a floor?

A floor can certainly be painted, but not every paint is suitable for this. A good floor paint must be highly scratch-resistant and wear-resistant, and must of course be suitable for the surface. For example, it is important to use floor paint suitable for a concrete floor, or floor paint specifically designed for painting a wooden floor. A tiled or laminate floor can also be painted, but there are a number of important steps you must take before you start.

The right use

Floor paint is available on a turpentine basis, but there is also a water-based version. The water-based version is particularly suitable for a floor that needs to be painted quickly and when you are looking for odourless paint. For all other situations we recommend turpentine-based floor paint at Engels Verf. Not sure? Come and visit us before you start. We can also tell you more about how to make a floor non-slip using the right floor paint.
