Boat varnish, looking sharp on the Amsterdam canals

Not every day is ideal for taking the boat out. Cold, rain, wind ’ the Dutch weather is very unpredictable. But once that watery sun breaks through, there is nowhere better than the IJ or the canals of our capital! At that moment you naturally also want your boat to look its best on the water. At Engels Verf we have a wide range of boat varnishes to make your boat the showstopper of the waterways.

What is the difference between boat varnish and yacht varnish

The terms boat varnish and yacht varnish, or boat paint and yacht paint, are often used interchangeably. Boat varnish and yacht varnish are however the same thing and are intended for painting a boat or yacht. A good boat varnish or yacht varnish is durable so that your boat or yacht is protected against wind, water and sunlight for many years.

Epifanes Poly-urethane yacht varnish

The boat varnish from Epifanes is our favourite choice and has very high scratch, impact and wear resistance. The high-gloss two-component yacht varnish is highly resistant to the effects of various solvents and chemicals. Epifanes boat varnish is colourfast, flows beautifully and retains its colour and gloss for a very long time.

We can explain exactly how to apply the Epifanes boat varnish in our paint stores. With boat varnish too, we believe that you can only really get started properly once you have good advice. The boat varnish is available in twenty-four standard colours and various watersports-related colours are available on request.
